|Tom Swift is a human Fable who works for as a fleet manager for the secret intelligence organization known as the Shadow Players. He debuts in Everafter: From the Pages of Fables #2 — "Train In Vain: Chapter Two of The Pandora Protocol."
History
Tom Swift works for the Shadow Players,[1] a clandestine Fable intelligence organization that is based in Washington, D.C.[2] His role appears to be that of a fleet manager, as he runs the motor pool.[1]
At one point, he is seen working on a lorry in the background while Feathertop guides Szymon Nowak around the facilities.[3]
After an assignment gone wrong, agents Peter Piper and Bo Peep make their way back to headquarters, where Tom is upset that Peter crashed his motorcycle during their mission. He subsequently takes it away, presumably for repairs.[1]
Upon discovering that his fellow agent Connor Wolf has infiltrated a group of relic thieves, Peter approaches Tom and requests a vehicle that can traverse both land and water, but unfortunately, they don't have any available. Instead, Peter settles for a motorcycle as his mode of transportation.[4]
Following Connor's request for Tom to inspect his windshield washer fluid, the two partake in a sexual encounter within a vehicle stationed in the motor pool. Unbeknownst to them, a pair of elves are seated outside, giggling.[5]
Personality and traits
Tom enjoys making puns about what is just said,[1][4][5] often referencing himself. For example, if talking about a sunny day, he might end his words with "said Tom, brightly."
