For the issue, see Fables #130 — "Junebug"

Junebug is a human child, presumably Fable, who is the daughter of the wooden puppets turned human, June and Rodney Greenwood. She first appears in Fables #72 — "Skulduggery, Part 2 of 2."

History

Threat of Mister Dark

Junebug and her parents can be seen among the Fables standing in the background when Rose Red addresses her fellow Fables after finally overcoming her long depression.[3]

Return to Fabletown

As the Fables return to Fabletown and settle into into Castle Dark, Rodney and June show their daughter the cage where Bigby Wolf's glass shards are kept. The three of them move into their apartment where Junebug goes on an adventure around the castle. As she wanders around the castle, she discovers giant rats living there and is captured by them. She is forced to write a sign for the giant rodents and is allowed to leave. When Junebug tries to tell her parents about the giant ras and show them the sign that the rats forced her to write, not knowing that they made her write "There are no monsters here," her parents don't believe her and take her to her bedroom. Once Junebug is asleep, Rodney and June go to check on her. To their horror, they discover scratch marks on her back which lends credibility to her story.[4]

It is later revealed that the rats are the secret offspring of Marcel Champagne.[5]

At a gathering, Junebug and her parents listen as Ozma and King Cole reveal to the citizens of Fabletown that Bigby has come back to life. They warn, however, that there is something terribly wrong with him and it is imperative that no one approaches him.[6]
